Castula slides on an aluminium rail by means of a carriage. The carriage allows linear movement thanks to 12 ball bearings and can be locked by a hand wheel. It is constructed with a stainless steel frame, non-slip aluminium steps and landing and is equipped with a handrail. It can be mounted on any piece of furniture, wall or shelf. For safe use, a manually operated steel front gate is fitted. For a linear travel of the staircase, a lower sliding kit is recommended to be applied on the upright of the platform. The steps are neither welded nor riveted: they are mounted on die-cast attachments with an anti-twist rung and groove inserted in the upright. Supplied with side information panel for correct use by visitors and safety tape to ensure stability on the landing. Heights from 4 to 16 steps.
