The SCOIATTOLO stairlift, designed for the transport of coffins, is a mobile device that does not need to be fixed to the wall. Although it can be used by a single operator, the assistance of a second operator is recommended. The structural and functional characteristics of the stairlift allow it to negotiate straight, spiral and trapezoidal staircases with ease. Its small size makes it extremely manoeuvrable and practical, allowing it to overcome obstacles that would otherwise be difficult to negotiate, such as narrow corridors, narrow landings and narrow staircases. It is powered by an electric motor, which is charged by an internal battery that is recharged by a built-in battery charger. The upward and downward speeds are regulated and maintained constant by the electronic control board.
