LADDERS CHECK
How can you estimate maintenance work without first checking the condition of your ladder fleet? Not to do could mean investing more than necessary or, worse still, failing to correctly assess the nature of the intervention.
That is why we have developed the Ladders Check service… much more than an inspection.

EXPERT ADVICE AND SERVICE
It is not easy to find your way when choosing professional equipment; there are many factors to consider. That is why our sales team and technical experts will help you to find the best solution.
After the purchase, we continue to support you with a dedicated after-sales service channel.

Inspection or demonstration
Our technical team is available to carry out on-site inspections and to draw up specific projects to provide customers with the best solutions for their needs. Specialised FEDA’s technicians carry out on-site demonstrations to show the functionality of the devices.
What does the Check Safe Ladders Service include?
- Inspection within the cemetery site.
- First structural check.
- Technical check to verify the maintenance of stability.
- Check sliding parts (verification of the proper functioning of track, carriage, wheels).
- Technical assessment notification for suitable ladders or those to be considered “out of order”, with issue of intervention sticker.
- Editing report containing the number of ladders checked, the maintenance status, the ladders out of order that need to be reinstalled.
LADDERS CHECK
The Check Service, carried out by our specialist technical teams, aims to provide the customer with a detailed picture of the maintenance status of the existing ladder fleet, to assess any shortcomings in relation to requirements and to propose a targeted and specific maintenance plan.
All inspected ladders are given a unique serial number. The report, which is then sent to the customer, provides information on the compliance and condition of each ladder, highlighting any deficiencies or defects that can be remedied by maintenance work.
All this is based on a careful technical analysis in accordance with current safety regulations.

Verification report
In the report, the ladders are verified and registered on-site. Their condition are attested.

Maintenance Plan
The Periodic Maintenance Plans are formulated based on Check service.

Machine maintenance and ladders

Machinery maintenance
Legislative Decree 81/2008 – Art. 71
“ALL MACHINERY AND WORK EQUIPMENT MUST UNDERGO REGULAR PERIODIC INSPECTIONS AND EXTRAORDINARY INSPECTIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTIONS.”
Machinery must be periodically inspected by INAIL or other authorised parties.
The purpose of these inspections is to assess the condition and efficiency of equipment.
Regular maintenance of machinery prolongs its life by ensuring its proper functioning and maintaining a high level of safety.
In order to meet the needs of all customers, KOIME offers Ordinary Check, Maintenance (Revision) and, as an alternative to individual interventions, Scheduled Maintenance Plans.
All interventions are carried out by our specialised technicians.
Ordinary check
The Ordinary Check is an initial visual inspection of the machine, followed by a structural and functional check. A series of tests are carried out, allowing the technician to provide the customer with an overall report.
Maintenance - Revision
Revision maintenance includes a structural check, including electrical and hydraulic parts (if any), a check of the internal sliding components, the lifting unit and a final test with calibration, load and functional tests. The check results must be retained and made available to inspection authorities on request (in harmony with current legislation).
Scheduled maintenance
Customers who opt for one of the scheduled maintenance plans do not have to worry about scheduling individual overhauls: the technical staff will carry out the entire procedure on time and in the prescribed manner. Benefits include extended warranties and the additional service of a replacement machine.

Ladder maintenance
Art. 2051 of the Civil Code.
“EVERYONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE THINGS IN THEIR CARE, UNLESS THEY CAN PROVE UNFORESEEABLE CIRCUMSTANCES.”
The caretaker, whether owner or operator, has a duty to maintain and preserve them in such a way that no damage can be caused in any way.
Cemetery ladders are facilities used by visitors, but can be a major hazard due to improper use, weathering and poor maintenance.
KOIME offers a technical maintenance service for cemetery ladders of all models, heights and types of movement. Technical maintenance, carried out by highly specialised personnel, guarantees the maintenance, repair and restoration of structural elements and damaged parts.
A certificate of professionalism is issued at the end of the intervention. It also provides customers with a well-defined and up-to-date situation of their staircase.
Individual maintenance plans
The customer can choose to carry out individual maintenance operations, focusing on the repair of individual structural elements, maintenance and works aimed at restoring damaged elements and parts.
Multi-year maintenance plans
The customer is assured of a significant reduction in waiting and intervention times, as well as the certainty of having fulfilled maintenance obligations and being protected from any risk of injury from visitors.
STANDARD plans: include the provision of maintenance services on a 12-month cycle.
PREMIUM Plans: include the provision of alternating inspection and maintenance services on a 6-month cycle.
Maintenance is carried out on ladders that are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty for conformity defects.
The periodic inspection is carried out on all ladders, as it allows a predictive check of their state of conservation.
On request, it is possible to adapt the schedules with different duration and cyclicity.
Operational rental
Rental is a simple and flexible solution that can be adapted to different needs and preferences.
The assets that can be the subject of the rental option include all the cemetery equipment and ladders in the KOIME catalogue.
This option also allows the customer to include ancillary services relating to use and maintenance, training and instruction in the safe use of the equipment, as well as a scheduled maintenance plan for the duration of the contract.
The cemetery ladder rental includes assembly, installation, testing and a certificate of workmanship.
The customer can also choose to include a scheduled maintenance plan for ladders.

Short-term rental

Loan
Loan for use is the perfect solution for customers who do not have the equipment available due to production or maintenance times. In these cases a replacement machine can be used to continue working safely and without interruption.
